Motherhood is hard—like really hard. Just being honest. And as I’ve just become a “new” mom all over again, there have been a few products that have made the first few months slightly easier or a little more pleasant! Since I know so many of my friends have either just had babies or have one on the way, I thought I would share some favorites.

KimonoDeals Soft Cotton Robe
I love this lightweight robe for delivery and also later for nursing. It’s cozy and soft and has pockets for your phone or a pacifier. I also used this robe as my go-to Christmas present this season because it is both luxurious feeling and affordable! Click here.

Johnson and Johnson Nursing Pads
These Johnson and Johnson breast pads are the best ones I’ve found. They actually have a natural shape and don’t show under clothes like every single other brand I’ve tried. I swear by these but they are hard to find in the stores (I’ve seen them in Walgreens a few times but mostly I order them online). Click here.

Pampers Swaddlers
I feel like diapers don’t usually make this kind of list but if you think about it, it’s the baby product you come into contact with the most! I swear by Pampers Swaddlers. I think they have less leaks, a more comfortable fit and I love the line that tells you if the baby is wet or not from the outside. Click here.

Boba Baby Wrap
With my first pregnancy I never found a baby carrier I was all that fond of. This time around I tried out the Boba baby carrier and I’m obsessed! Because it’s a long strip of stretchy fabric, you tie it on your body and it fits YOU and your baby perfectly. If it doesn’t, you can adjust how tightly or loosely you are tying it. Since I’m pushing 5’10” and Eloise was 10 lbs at birth, a good fit was extra important! I got this organic cotton version and I’ve used it SO much, especially since Eloise prefers to be held most of the time but I still have to get stuff done. Added bonus, she almost always falls asleep when I put her in the Boba and has taken some of her longest naps in it. Click here.

Suekaphin 5 PACK Nursing Bra
I feel like nursing bras are another item you come into contact with multiple times a day and I was thrilled to find this five pack of bras on Amazon for less than the cost of one bra at some stores! They are super comfy, easy to wash and care for and ultra adjustable. They come with extenders also which I thought was cool. Click here.

Mesh Panties
Mesh panties are one of those “love ‘em or hate ‘em items and I happen to love them. I love them so much for post partum that I found some on Amazon for after the hospital. Extra bonus: they are BLACK! What more could you ask for? Click here.

BLANQI Women’s High Waist Leggings
If you are like me, when you are pregnant and post partum leggings become like a second skin from being worn so frequently! I fell in love with these Blanqi high-waisted ones that give just the right amount of abdominal support. I’m not trying to look like I didn’t just have a baby or suck my stomach in so tight that I can’t breath, but a little extra structure in that area feels good. These are a little on the expensive side but worth it in my opinion. If you are between sizes, order a size up because they do tend to be a little sheer if you order too small. Click here.

Waterproof Backpack Diaper Bag
Another “high touch item” is your diaper bag and finding one that fits your lifestyle can make getting out of the house feel like less of an ordeal. Since I knew many of my trips out of the house would also include a 3 year old, I decided to go for a backpack version to keep my hands as free as possible. I looked at a lot of more expensive versions but decided that this one seemed durable, had great storage and a sleek look. It’s been great so far! Click here.
